SUPERVISORS OF THE CHECKLIST

WILL BE IN SESSION

At the Nelson Town Office

Saturday, February 28, 2026

1:00-1:30 pm Register new voters

and make changes to the checklist.

1:30 pm- Prepare for Town Election

A person registering to vote must be

• 18 years of age or older

• A United States Citizen

Domiciled in the town where the person seeks to vote

You will need to provide proof of your identity, age, citizenship

and domicile to register to vote.

A driver’s license or non-driver ID from any state is proof of identity and

age. If you have a NH driver's license with your current Nelson address

this will prove your residency. If not, you will need to prove that you re-

side in the town of Nelson by providing something like a utility bill with

your Nelson address. A birth certificate, U.S. Passport or naturalization

document is proof of citizenship.
