A Visit to Merricon

Merriconn.png

ZOOM : A Visit to Merricon with Lindy Black. Merricon was a house that sat high above the Merrimack and Conneticut river basins. One can look onto both from the house site. It was built in 1783, but this is the story from 1932 until 1947. The Struthers owned this house and lived there. Find out how they lived, from college extension school classes, to giant reptile cages, a large garden, cows and specimen bottles. Lindy (Struthers) Black, who was part of this family will answer questions. Contact the Library for a link.
