 History of Mount Monadnock: Mount Monadnock looms over the region after which it is named. An icon of southern New Hampshire, it can leave you feeling exhilarated or full of questions. Why is the mountain bald? Who were the first people to summit it, and why is it so popular today? Explore these questions and more with new Hampshire Ranger Joy on September 14.

 Life, Water, and Abenaki Culture: The Western Abenaki people have lived in New Hampshire for approximately 11,000 years, maintaining an intimate and sustainable connection with their land and all the living things on it. On September 21, learn more about their history and how to honor it with New Hampshire Ranger Joy.
