We will start off the evening with Wolf Pack a local band playing traditional music.

Poetry Reading by Robin Becker: 7pm

Robin Becker,  Professor  Emerita in English at Penn State University, has spent summers in Nelson for many years. Her poems have appeared in numerous publications including The New Yorker. She has twice been a MacDowell Fellow and received grants from the National Endowment for the Arts and the Massachusetts Cultural Council.  Robyn will read poems from  her new collection,  Midsummer Count: New and Selected Poems  and discuss some of the sources for her poems. Her subjects include family, beloved animals and friends, grief, and cherished landscapes.
